Stream-wise Seat Distribution:

How To Apply
Depending on the mode of entry, eligible candidates can apply online either through TUEE or the CUET portal.
a) Admission through TUEE 2026
Candidates seeking admission via TUEE 2026 must apply online and appear for the entrance test. After the declaration of results, they can proceed with the admission process through the official portal.
- All candidates are required to register and complete the Admission-cum-Counselling Form (ACF) online through the Tezpur University admission portal.
- While filling out the application form, candidates must choose a preferred test centre and appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) at the selected location.
- A merit list will be prepared based on TUEE 2026 scores, and shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling and admission accordingly.
b) Admission through CUET (UG) 2026
Candidates opting for admission through CUET (UG) 2026 must appear for the exam and apply for admission after the results are announced.
- Register for CUET (UG) 2026 through the National Testing Agency official portal by following the given instructions.
- Select Tezpur University from the list of universities and choose the desired programme.
- Choose the appropriate test papers (general and domain subjects) and preferred exam centres.
- Appear for the CUET (UG) 2026 as per the schedule released by the NTA.
- After results are declared, candidates must register on the Tezpur University admission portal and submit their CUET details along with required documents.
- The merit list will be prepared based on CUET (UG) 2026 scores, and eligible candidates will be invited for counselling and admission.

Selection Process of Recruitment 2026
For the academic session 2026–27, Tezpur University will conduct the TUEE in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various examination centres across India. The duration of the test will be two hours.
The question paper will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions, each with four answer options. Every correct response will be awarded 2 marks, while 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

In Assam, the Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2026 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted at centres including Barpeta Road, Dibrugarh, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Guwahati, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Mangaldai, Nagaon, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, and Tezpur.
