FAA College Assam Recruitment 2026– Eligibility

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

1. Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
2. Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with evidence of published research work.
3. Must have served as Associate Professor/Professor with a minimum of 15 years of teaching, research, or administrative experience in Universities, Colleges, or other Higher Educational Institutions.
4. Should possess the minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) score prescribed for direct recruitment of Professors in Colleges.
5. Must have at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed, UGC-approved, or CARE-listed journals.
6. Should have secured a minimum 110 Research Score as per UGC Guidelines dated 18 July 2018.
7. A relaxation of 5% marks at Graduate and Master’s levels is applicable for SC/ST/Differently Abled candidates as per UGC norms.
8. Candidates who obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September 1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree are eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks.
