Industry 4.0 Innovation Centre Recruitment 2026– Job Description & Responsibilities
The Director shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Industry 4.0 Innovation Centre and shall be responsible for:
- Development and implementation of strategic initiatives for Industry 4.0 adoption
- Establishment and management of Hi-Tech Tool Room and Service Bureau facilities
- Promotion of Industry 4.0 technologies including AI, Digital Twin, 3D Printing, Industrial IoT, 5G Applications, Cloud Computing, Robotics, Digital Manufacturing and Frontier Technologies
- Collaboration/partnerships with CPSEs, MSMEs, industries, startups, educational institutions, reputed international organizations/industries/R&D institutions globally
- Identification and execution of technology-driven projects and innovation initiatives
- Management of operations, maintenance, administration, finance and resource mobilization of the Centre
- Promotion of skilling, training, research and technology transfer initiatives with Industry Partners and support incubation/handholding for Startups
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Governing Body from time to time
Industry 4.0 Innovation Centre Recruitment 2026– Eligibility
1. Employment Status
The applicant must have been previously employed or currently employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) in one of the following:

Note: The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered.
